LPA will bring light to heavy rains over parts of Central Luzon, MIMAROPA —PAGASA

The provinces of Bataan, Zambales, Pangasinan, Mindoro, and Palawan will have light to moderate with at times heavy rains due to a Low Pressure Area (LPA), PAGASA reported on Saturday.

In its 11 a.m. weather advisory, PAGASA however said the LPA is less likely to develop into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Under the conditions, scattered flooding and rain-induced landslides are likely in the said provinces, especially in those that are highly or very highly susceptible to the hazards.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the rest of MIMAROPA and Central Luzon. —LBG, GMA News
