Habagat to continue to bring rain showers

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect the country on Monday and will bring rain showers over several areas, PAGASA said.

Metro Manila, Western Visayas, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms.

During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
