Rainshowers, thunderstorms expected over S. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao due to ITCZ

State weather bureau PAGASA on Thursday said the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring inclement weather over Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

In its 5 a.m. regional weather forecast, PAGASA said Visayas and Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro, will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

PAGASA added that light to moderate winds from the southwest to southeast are expected over Visayas and Palawan, including Kalayaan Islands and Occidental Mindoro with slight to moderate seas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
