ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Region


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The entire country will experience light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
