PAGASA: LPA, ITCZ to bring scattered rain showers over Palawan, Mindanao
A low pressure area (LPA) and intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan and Mindanao, PAGASA said on Thursday.
The LPA was located 360 kilometers west of southwest of Puerto Princesa, Palawan as of 3 p.m., the weather bureau reported.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, Palawan, BARMM, and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
The public were advised of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters would be light to moderate throughout the country.
