Cloudy skies, scattered rains over eastern Visayas, Caraga due to easterlies
The easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on Ash Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Eastern Visayas and Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorm with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Extreme northern Luzon areas will experience moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain moderate.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
