Shear Line to bring rain over eastern Visayas, Mindanao –PAGASA
A Shear Line will bring rain over the eastern sections of the Visayas and Mindanao on Monday, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga City, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan would experience cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorms due to a Shear Line and the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
Flash floods or landslides were possible during moderate to heavy rains in these areas, PAGASA warned.
Isolated rains could be expected over the rest of Mindanao caused by the Shear Line and localized thunderstorms, PAGASA said. Flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms were also possible during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon would bring cloudy skies with light rain over the Bicol Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.
Also, Metro Manila and the rest of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains because of the Northeast Monsoon.
Coastal waters across the country would be moderate to rough, with waves possibly reaching up to four meters. — DVM, GMA News
