Shear line, ITCZ to bring rain over Luzon areas, Palawan, Mindanao –PAGASA

The shear line (tail-end of a frontal system) will be affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Palawan and Mindanao, weather bureau PAGASA said on Saturday.
Based on PAGASA's 4 p.m. weather forecast, the Cagayan Valley, Palawan, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern and Central Luzon is moderate to strong while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speeds while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
