PAGASA: ITCZ to bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over east Visayas, Palawan

The Eastern Visayas and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, which may cause flash floods or landslides, due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), weather bureau PAGASA said on Saturday afternoon.

The Batanes and Cagayan would meanwhile have cloudy skies with light rain due to a shear line and the northeast monsoon.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of the Cagayan Valley Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds moving from the northeast to east, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The sun will rise at 5:56 a.m. on Sunday. — DVM, GMA News
