Isolated light rains expected over Luzon, Visayas

Luzon and Visayas will have isolated light rains on Monday due to the northeasterly windflow, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Batanes and Cagayan will have cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Mindanao on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods may occur during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA said it is monitoring a low pressure area was located at 3 a.m. at 1,260 km east northeast of Basco, Batanes.

Coastal waters meanwhile will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
