Rain, isolated thunderstorms to prevail over 4 areas

The tail-end of a frontal system is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain and isolated thunderstorms over Quezon, MIMAROPA, the Bicol Region, and the Visayas, according to PAGASA on Wednesday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned residents in these areas of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rain.

Cloudy skies with rain may also prevail over the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora due to the Northeast Monsoon.

PAGASA said flash floods or landslides are also possible.

The monsoon may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

It has no significant impact on the affected areas.

Meanwhile, the trough of a low pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility may bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and the Davao Region.

Flash floods and landslides are possible.

It may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.
