Cagayan Valley, CAR, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol to have scattered rains
The tail-end of a frontal system and the easterlies will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley and four other areas on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Aside from Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Aurora, Quezon and the Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) meanwhile will bring cloudy skies with rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon and Calabarzon. During times of moderate or heavy rains, flash floods or landslides may be possible.
The rest of the country on the other hand will be affected by the easterlies, and will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Luzon and Visayas, and slight to moderate in Mindanao.
