LPA in the east of Eastern Samar intensifies into Tropical Depression Ofel —PAGASA

The low pressure area (LPA) located at the east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar has developed into a tropical depression Tuesday afternoon, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In a tweet, PAGASA said the tropical depression is named Ofel.

At 2PM today, the Low Pressure Area east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar developed into Tropical Depression #OfelPH.

“At 2 p.m. today, the Low Pressure Area east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar developed into Tropical Depression #OfelPH,” PAGASA said.
