Tropical depression enters PAR, now named Gener

The tropical depression that was hovering northeast of extreme northern Luzon has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday morning.

According to PAGASA, the cyclone entered PAR at 4 a.m. and was named Gener.

A severe weather bulletin will be issued at 11 a.m., PAGASA said. —KBK, GMA News
