Heat index hits 46°C in Roxas City
Roxas City in Capiz on Sunday recorded the day’s hottest heat index, with the human-perceived temperature rising to 46°C, according to PAGASA.

The weather bureau said this was followed by Catbalogan City and Sangley Point, Cavite City with 45°C, while Alabat in Quezon, Calapan City, and Zamboanga City all recorded 44°C each.
PAGASA warned that a heat index ranging from 41°C to 54°C could lead to heat cramps and exhaustion.
Heat stroke was also possible during continuous physical activity, the weather service warned.
Meanwhile, the PAGASA station at the Science Garden in Quezon City recorded a heat index of 41°C at 3 p.m.
