Easterlies to bring hot and humid weather across the Philippines
The Easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are expected to bring hot and humid weather in the Philippines within the next 24 hours, state weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
According to weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio, hot and humid weather conditions will prevail from midday until the afternoon.
“‘Yung Amihan ay hindi na po umaabot sa ating bansa,” he added.
However, isolated rains may still occur due to thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms were forecast over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA advised the public to prepare for possible flash floods or landslide during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, a low pressure area being monitored off of Palawan has completely dissolved. — Julia Mari Ornedo/BM, GMA News
