Ursula exits Philippine Area of Responsibility

Tropical Storm Ursula (international name: Phanfone) exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday morning, according to PAGASA.

Ursula exited PAR at 9:50 a.m., the state weather bureau said.

As a typhoon, Ursula claimed at least 22 lives, caused flooding in parts of Capiz, downed transmission lines and caused devastation in other areas of Visayas.

Damage to agriculture has reached P500 million, the Department of Agriculture said. —KG, GMA News
