Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over PHL —PAGASA
Easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are expected to bring cloudy skies and rains over the country within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Monday.
In its 4 p.m. public weather forecast, the state weather bureau said the easterlies are forecast to bring cloudy skies with rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms over Mindanao, Central Visayas and the provinces of Leyte; cloudy skies with light rains over Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Meanwhile, the northeasterly surface wind flow is predicted to cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region.
