Shallow LPA spotted outside PAR —PAGASA
A shallow low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to PAGASA.
A weather report on Balitanghali on Monday said the LPA was located 1,460 kilometers east of Visayas.
It is expected to enter the PAR on Tuesday but has low chances of intensifying into a tropical depression.
Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is still affecting northern Luzon.
According to MetraWeather, the Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Bangsamoro region may experience rains.
Metro Manila, on the other hand, will have cloudy skies. —Dona Magsino/KBK, GMA News
