LPA in western Mindanao to bring rains in most of PHL
There is a low chance that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) in Mindanao will develop into a storm, according to GMA resident meteorologist Nathaniel "Mang Tani" Cruz.
However, the LPA will bring rains in the region over the weekend.
PAGASA located the LPA at 180 kilometers west northwest of Zamboanga City in Zamboanga del Sur.
In the Metraweather wind map, the LPA's circulation is weak so it will not develop into a storm.
Mindanao residents are advised to be always ready as rains are expected over the weekend.
