ITCZ to bring light rains, cloudy skies to Visayas, Mindanao
Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with some rains on Monday due to the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), PAGASA said in its forecast.
The ITCZ is the area where winds from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres converge, according to PAGASA.
It will be cloudy with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Visayas.
Palawan and Occidental Mindoro meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Light rains meanwhile are forecast for Region 9 or the Zamboanga Peninsula.
Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Southern Luzon will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
The Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque will have isolated rainshowers.
Northern Samar meanwhile will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Coastal waters, temperatures
Light to moderate winds from the east will prevail and coastal waters will be slight to moderate in most parts of the country.
Temperatures in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 36°C.
Cebu on the other hand will have temperatures ranging from 27°C to 33°C. —KG, GMA News
