Rainy Thursday for most of PHL, more thunderstorms likely on Friday

Rainy weather will continue to affect several parts of the country on Thursday, especially Luzon, according to GMA's resident meteorologist Nathaniel Cruz on his report for "24 Oras."

Particularly, data from MetraWeather said thunderstorms are likely to affect the entire Luzon region in the afternoon but rainfall can be expected in Calabarzon, Mimaropa and Bicol region throughout the day.

Rainfall can also be expected in Metro Manila the next day.

Provinces in the Visayas are also likely to experience rainfall on Friday, particularly Panay, Negros and Samar islands.

There is also a strong chance of thunderstorms in Mindanao on Friday, the report said. —Margaret Claire Layug/LDF, GMA News
