LPA spotted near Ilocos Norte


A Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 160 kilometers north northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte early Tuesday morning, PAGASA reported in its morning forecast.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Mindoro provinces, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA.

The rest of the country will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms.

The public is warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for extreme northern Luzon is moderate to occasionally strong moving northeast to east while coastal water condition is moderate to occasionally rough.

The wind speed for the rest of the country is light to moderate moving southwest to west while coastal water condition is slight to moderate.
