Isolated showers expected over the Visayas, Mindanao, southern Luzon


The Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon could expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Monday morning forecast.

The rest of the country would meanwhile experience partly cloudy conditions.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the east to northeast over the eastern sections of southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

Over northern and Central Luzon, winds would be moderate to occasionally strong from the east to southeast with moderate to occasionally rough surrounding sea conditions.

Over the rest of the country, winds would be light to moderate from the east to northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunday temperatures over Metro Manila dropped to 23.2 degrees Celsius at 6:20 a.m., after which it rose to a high of 34.2 degrees at 3 p.m. — DVM, GMA News
