Wutip enters PAR, now Tropical Storm Betty
Tropical Storm Betty (international name Wutip) has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday night, PAGASA has said.
It entered PAR at between 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., as posted in GMA's IMReady Twitter account.

According to the weather report in State of the Nation with Jessica Soho, Tropical Storm Betty was located at 1,245 km east of Tugegarao City, Cagayan.
Betty has maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph and moving in the west-northwest direction at 25 kph.
Citing PAGASA, the report said the Tropical Storm is not expected to make landfall and may further weaken as it approaches Luzon.
According to PAGASA's latest severe weather bulletin issued at 5 p.m., the tropical storm poses "no direct threat to any part of the country." —NB/BAP, GMA News
