More cold mornings seen as Amihan blows

More cold mornings are expected in the country due to the surge of the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

According to GMA resident meteorologist Nathaniel "Mang Tani" Cruz on "24 Oras", Metro Manila recorded its lowest temperature, 21 degrees celsius, on Monday morning since the Amihan season began.

The lowest temperature in Baguio City, on the other hand, was 13 degrees celsius. In Tanay, Rizal, it was 19.4 degrees celsius.

Meanwhile, chances of rain in some parts of the country are likely, according to Metraweather.

Light to moderate rain is expected in Aurora, Quezon, and Mindoro.

Metro Manila may not experience drizzles on Tuesday but rain gear may come handy for those who will attend Traslacion on Wednesday, as rains are likely in the morning.

In Visayas, rains are expected to pour on Tuesday morning over Aklan, some portions of Leyte Island, and Cebu.

The same is the forecast in Caraga and Davao, while the rest of Mindanao will experience fair weather. —Dona Magsino/NB, GMA News
