What to pack in your disaster kit

With Typhoon Ambo threatening many areas in Luzon and the Visayas, residents of affected communities should be bracing for emergency situations by packing a survival kit.

The kit should include water, medicine, and food that does not need to be cooked, such as biscuits or canned goods. You should pack enough to last you three days.

Other things that ought to be in your kit are a blanket, a flashlight, a whistle, a whistle to signal for help in case of trouble, and a portable radio in order to be updated with the news. — JST/KBK/BAP, GMA News
