Moderate to heavy rain expected over west Luzon areas – PAGASA

Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro, and Palawan could expect moderate to at times heavy rain due to the southwest monsoon, weather service PAGASA predicted  in a Tuesday morning forecast.

The southwest monsoon would also bring light to moderate rain over Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and the Western Visayas; as well as cloudy conditions accompanied with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the rest of Luzon and the Visayas. 

Mindanao could meanwhile expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the southwest to south over northern and Central Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough

Finally, winds over the rest of  the country would be moderate to strong from the southwest to west with surrounding seas expected to be from moderate to rough. — DVM, GMA News
