Metro Manila, nearby provinces to experience heavy to intense rainfall in next 2 hours

Metro Manila, as well as the provinces of Rizal, Laguna and Quezon will experience heavy to intense rains with lightning and strong winds over the next two hours, weather bureau PAGASA issued in its 10 a.m. advisory Friday.

Meanwhile, a yellow warning alert has been issued in Zambales, with heavy rainfall expected due to tropical storm Inday.

Heavy rainfall of 7.5 to 15 mm/hr is expected for the next three hours, and flooding in the low-lying areas of Zambales said province is also expected.

Cavite and Batangas are already experiencing the said conditions, which may persist within two hours.

Light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected to persist within two to three hours in Bataan, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga and Bulacan. — Jamil Santos/RSJ, GMA News
