Domeng intensifies into tropical storm; Luzon to experience rains over the weekend

Tropical depression Domeng has intensified into a Tropical Storm on Friday, and is expected to trigger rains over Luzon, including Metro Manila.

However, Domeng is still not expected to hit land despite enhancing the southwest monsoon, according to a News To Go weather update.

Domeng was last spotted east of Aurora province, packing maximum winds of 65 km/hr and gusts of up to 80 km/hr.
