Scattered rain showers expected over Davao, nearby provinces
The country will still feel the effects of the easterlies on Friday, the PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
The regions of Davao, the Zamboanga Peninsula and the provinces of Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and South Cotabato will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies.
These areas were also warned by the state weather bureau for possible flooding or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
The coastal water conditions in northern and central Luzon as well as the rest of the country will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
