TS Caloy exits the PAR
Tropical Storm Caloy (international name Jelawat) exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility late Tuesday night, weather service PAGASA reported in an 11 p.m. bulletin.
At 10 p.m., Caloy was 1,020 kilometers east Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, with sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 80 kph. Estimated rainfall amount within the storm's 550 km diameter was from moderate to heavy.
Caloy was moving north at 15 kph, and would be 1,100 km east-northeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar by Wednesday evening.
PAGASA did not expect Caloy to re-enter the PAR.
