Scattered rain expected over south Luzon areas – PAGASA
The Calabarzon, Bicol, and Eastern Visayas Regions; Oriental Mindoro; and Marinduque would be cloudy with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front, PAGASA's Wednesday morning forecast predicted.
The Caraga and Davao Regions would also be cloudy with scattered rain and thunderstorms, but this time due to the easterlies.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Regions, and Aurora would be cloudy with scattered rain due to the northeast monsoon.
The rest of Luzon would also be under the influence of the northeast monsoon, which would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions and isolated light rain over the area.
Finally, the rest of Visayas and of Mindanao would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.
Winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast over Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough.
Over the Visayas and Mindanao, wind would be light to moderate from the east to northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
