ITCZ spotted in Mindanao

An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported on its early morning forecast.

The regions of CARAGA, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Central and Western Visayas will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to south will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southwest to west over the rest of the country.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
