ITCZ sighted over southern Mindanao

Southern Mindanao will be affected by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) on Thursday, according to PAGASA's early morning forecast.

With this, the regions of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, the and Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to south will prevail over Palawan and from the southeast to south over the rest of the country.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
