Hailstorm hits parts of Luzon on Thursday afternoon

A hailstorm affected parts of Luzon on Thursday afternoon following a thunderstorm advisory released by state weather bureau PAGASA.

Netizens took to social media to share the rare weather phenomenon which happened past 4 p.m. in several areas of Quezon City and Nueva Ecija province.

PAGASA issued a thunderstorm advisory around 4:30 p.m. in Metro Manila and the provinces of Cavite, Nueva Ecija, Rizal, Bulacan, and Laguna which may persist within two hours.
