Up to moderate rains in VisMin this Wednesday

State weather forecasters see cloudy skies with up to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms this Wednesday, March 29, in Mindanao, and Eastern and Central Visayas.

In its 24-hour forecast effective onwards from 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, PAGASA said that the tail end of a cold front is affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao. Meanwhile, the Amihan northeast monsoon continues to affect Luzon.

Both systems will make for at least partly cloudy skies across the country, with some rain.

Occasional light rains are expected across Luzon, whereas isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms are forecast in Visayas.

Moderate to strong northeast winds and rough coastal waters are expected across the archipelago.
