NDRRMC raises flood warnings across central PHL

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Tuesday raised flood warnings across most of Visayas, parts of southern Luzon and northern Mindanao due to heavy rains.

In its 11 am advisory, PAGASA said that an LPA east-northeast of Zamboanga City had already dissipated. However, occasional heavy rains may be expected from the tail-end of a cold front.

Residents of the following areas are warned to be wary of heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides—particularly on shores and riverbanks:

• Quezon
• Oriental Mindoro
• Occidental Mindoro 
• Marinduque 
• Romblon 
• Bicol 
• Western, central, and eastern Visayas
