State weather agency PAGASA said Metro Manila is one of five areas included in an orange rainfall warning as of 5 p.m.
Four areas were under PAGASA's red rainfall warning, which means the possibility of severe flooding. These include:
- Bataan
- Zambales
- Tarlac
- Nueva Ecija
Included in the five areas under orange rainfall warning, which means flooding is threatening, are:
- Metro Manila
- Bulacan
- Pampanga
- Rizal
- Cavite
Meanwhile, three areas are included in the yellow rainfall warning, which means possible flooding in low-lying areas:
- Laguna
- Batangas
- Quezon
