Twitter Circle will let you filter who can view your tweets

Ever wanted to tweet something but didn’t want certain followers to see it, so you just say never mind? Those days are certainly over.

On Wednesday, the Twitter world was surprised to see that they can now choose their audience for tweets.

Apart from “Public,” there’s also the new thing called “Twitter Circle.”

Twitter Circle works like Instagram’s Close Friends list. You can choose up to 150 friends to form your circle, and those are the only ones who can view your Twitter Circle tweets.

You might get excited to include over a hundred friends in your space for now, but don’t worry. It can be edited anytime, anywhere without them knowing.

“Giving you all Twitter Circle because sometimes, your tweets aren’t for everyone,” the platform said. “Add up to 150 people to yours and use it. Please.”

As of writing, “Twitter Circle” is among Philippines’ top trending topics with over 272,000 tweets from users both excited and still getting the hang of it.
