Pinoy-made game Brawl Quest’s crossover with Hunghang Flashbacks starts on March 12
“Brawl Quest,” a multi-awarded Pinoy-made action game you can download for free from Google Play and App Store, is back with another crossover event with a Pinoy webcomic.
From March 12 to 22, 2021, “Brawl Quest” players can expect new content revolving around “Hunghang Flashbacks,” a popular webcomic its creator describes as a source of “Shower thoughts and Flashback stories of relatable awkwardness, over the top pick-up lines, dumb jokes, witty puns and many more wholesome kahunghangans.”
The event will allow players to unlock a new fighter, the banana-obsessed XX.
Like previous crossover characters, XX boasts unique moves designed by its creator. These include:
- Banana Slash: a string of rapid strikes ending with a deadly slash with a banana sword
- Banana Blade: a horizontal dash that deals damage to enemies in a line
- Banana Buff: a random buff that adds 1 banana charge and leaves a banana peel on the ground
- Banana Bazooka: a powerful blast that damages multiple enemies and grants XX random buffs

Players can also play through the new “Mall Mayhem” even stages. Completing these stages will reward players with the in-game currency needed to purchase XX.
A daily login bonus and the discounted price of $4 for the XX gacha will make it easier for players to acquire the character.
Once the event is over, XX can be purchased for the regular price of $7.

ThinkBIT Games’ “Brawl Quest” is a beat ‘em up inspired by Philippine pop culture and society and classic arcade games such as “River City Ransom” and “Double Dragon.”
It features 2D hand-drawn art, diverse playable characters, over 50 stages, challenging boss battles, and a multitude of unlockable pets that provide character buffs once equipped.

ThinkBIT Games previously collaborated with Pinoy webcomics “Little Things PH” and “Sskait.” At least two more crossover events are in the works. — LA, GMA News
