Google says thank you to delivery, packaging, and shipping workers in new doodle

Google is saying thanks to all delivery, packaging and shipping workers who continue to provide essential services amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

On Wednesday, April 15, Google users were greeted with an animated doodle which shows a heart being sent to a delivery truck driver:

The message says, “Today, we’d like to say: To all packaging, shipping, and delivery workers, thank you.”

The leading search engine has been paying a tribute to front liners everyday with a series of animated doodles that greet Google users whenever they start search for something on their browsers.

They also prepared art that featured janitors, grocery workers, food industry workers, policemen, and of course, doctors and nurses, among others.

The doodle on Tuesday said “thank you” to all public transportation workers who continue to serve amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

“As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever. We're launching a Doodle series to recognize and honour many of those on the front lines,” Goodle said. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
