Robots, smart lockers, high-tech vendos: Inside Microsoft's HQ in Singapore

Tired of the same walls of your cubicle? Just check out Microsoft's new workplace!

With a robot concierge that can book you a ride, a vending machine that churns out computer accessories and even doors that open upon facial recognition, Microsoft's new regional headquarters in Fraser Tower, Singapore is making waves in revolutionizing what a workplace should look like.

During a press tour on Monday, Microsoft APAC Program Lead Julian Chan said that Microsoft's regional headquarters used to be based in Marina Boulevard, Singapore before moving to Fraser Tower.

With over six floors catering to 1,400 employees, the office makes sure both clients and employees have seamless and stress-free transactions.

The office itself is inclusive of those with disabilities since it has numerous features such as Braille translations on meeting room doors, movable and adjustable screens for those in wheelchairs, and close captioning technology that flashes the translation and captions of whatever the speaker is saying. —JST, GMA News
