Special Force makes triumphant comeback

Thanks to a partnership between game publisher Asiasoft and developer Dragonfly, “Special Force” is back. And, judging from the number of people eager to play the game, it seems the online first-person shooter’s popularity remains intact despite years of absence from the spotlight.

Within a month from its launch, the game has already seen more than 2,000,000 registrations, attracting players from the following Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam.

“Hitting 2,000,000 registrants within one month from five countries alone from SEA, SPECIAL FORCE KPI keeps increasing with the relentless support from the players,” said Moon Sang Hyuk, Dragonfly’s “Special Force” team leader. “Using our service experience in more than 52 countries, we will do our best to continually provide better service in Southeast Asia, especially with our equally strong and able partner: Asiasoft.”

Dragonfly entered into a partnership with Asiasoft to launch “Special Force.” Asiasoft, a Southeast Asian online mobile game publisher, owns a game platform known as Playpark, which boasts a community of more than 154,000,000 members. Thanks to these player numbers, and Dragonfly’s commitment to the game, the collaboration between the two companies should ensure a long and healthy life for “Special Force.”

To promote the game’s launch, Dragonfly and Asiasoft also organized a series of tournaments in Southeast Asia. In the Philippines, one of the biggest tourneys was part of the annual Playpark XP event held in Skydome SM City North EDSA on December 17, 2016. More than 4,500 gamers attended said event, where they watched a Manila team win the “Special Force” RESBAK 5v5 Kick-Off Tournament.
