Sony Philippines highlights flagship products at inaugural fair

Sony Philippines is exhibiting its flagship products in its inaugural Sony Fair. The event boasts interactive displays, workshops, and community activities designed to allow customers to try out Sony products for themselves.

“For the last 70 years, Sony Corporation has continuously delivered products and technologies that bring unique experiences to our customers,” said President and Managing Director of Sony Philippines, Nobuyoshi Otake. “We are a company that works to inspire and fulfill people’s curiosity, and our Sony Fair demonstrates this. By showcasing some of our flagship products, we invite everyone to experience the superiority of our technologies and the many ways they enhance our lives.”

Running from December 9 to 18 at Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, the Sony Fair is showcasing premium items in the spaces of home entertainment, digital imaging, mobile, gaming, and personal audio.

Bravia

The Bravia area showcases Sony’s latest television products, among them the super-thin Z9D 4K HDR TV, and the X9300D 4K HDR TV. Both items are known for the stunning picture quality.

At 8pm on December 17 and 18, the area will host a mini-event called Bravia Movie Night.

PlayStation

Next to the Bravia area, the Sony PlayStation display allows gamers to play some of the year’s most anticipated titles, such as “Final Fantasy XV,” “NBA2K17,” and “Just Dance.” Additionally, attendees keen on experiencing virtual reality technology can try out the PlayStation VR Headsets.

Xperia

The Xperia booth should be of interest to mobile phone enthusiasts. Here, Sony puts on display its latest Xperia X mobile devices. One of them is the flagship item Xperia XZ, which features a camera using triple image sensing technology for high quality mobile photography.

Attendees can enter a mobile photography contest on December 17 for a chance to win Xperia devices.

On December 18, Xperia Ambassadors Pierre Guevarra, Linus Banaag and Marvin Conanan will host workshops that’ll teach attendees urban photography and self-portraiture.

Extra Bass and Hi-Res

The Extra Bass and Hi-Res exhibits show off Sony’s personal audio products. Among the items being showcased are personal audio Bluetooth devices like the MDR-1000X Noise-Canceling Headphones, MDR-XB650BT EXTRA BASS Headphones, and SRS-XB3 Portable Wireless Speaker. Home and car audio devices are also on display.

At 1pm on December 17, attendees can dance to their favorite music at the Feel the Passion Dance Clinic with the Upeepz Dance Crew.

Digital Imaging

The Digital Imaging area shows off Sony’s top-of-the-line digital cameras, such as their latest Alpha and Cyber-Shot cameras. Attendees can enjoy a series of on-site activities – such as BMX bike and bar-tending exhibitions – aimed at testing these devices’ capabilities.

Additionally, attendees can join various photography talks and workshops featuring esteemed cinematographers and photographers such as Nina Sandejas, Paco Guerrero, Pilar Trigo Bonnin, and Mayad Studios.
