Injustice 2 trailer features Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot

With "the worst heroes ever" showing just how crazy they can be in Suicide Squad , it’s no surprise that Warner Bros. Games, DC Entertainment, and NetherRealm Studios are capitalizing on the villains' fame by announcing two new characters from the Squad for their upcoming fighting game sequel “Injustice 2”, one of them a returning character to boot.

Shown at this year’s Gamescom, the brand new trailer reveals that Harley Quinn and Deadshot will be added to the growing roster of DC Comics characters that will battle one another in a game made by the same makers of the critically acclaimed Mortal Kombat fighting game series.

Returning from the first game “Injustice: Gods Among Us” is Harley Quinn—better known as the Joker’s girlfriend and a former psychiatrist who fell in love with the Clown Prince of Crime and calls him her “Puddin.’” Looking mighty feisty and energetic as ever, Harley’s coming back with new suits and skills to show off… And she’s a lady you don’t want to mess with at all.

Coming in as a brand new character to the series is Deadshot, aka Floyd Lawton and the “World’s Greatest Assassin” of the DC Universe. A member of the Suicide Squad who never misses his mark, Deadshot has his sights set on the vigilante to elude his scope and capture him in the first place—Gotham City’s own Dark Knight hero The Batman. How he plays into the story of Injustice 2 is still a mystery, but it will definitely see him clash with the Caped Crusader at one point or another.
