Upcoming Sony Xperia C6 may sport massive 6-inch screen

Leaked photos of what seems to be the latest iteration of Sony's 'C' series smartphones shows a whopping 6-inch screen.

The photos of the phablet surfaced on Chinese social networking site Baidu in March, but only recently started circulating among English-language websites.

"The design appears to be a cross between last year’s Xperia C5 Ultra and the upcoming Xperia XA. Apparently, the handset is currently in testing and will have minimal side bezels and dual SIM card support. It is expected to be powered by a MediaTek chipset," notes XperiaBlog.net.

"However, there’s no guarantee that it will ever see the light of day," they were quick to add.

"Sony (has) placed a great deal of emphasis on its new 'X Line' however there is still the likely probability that it intends to release other, more budget-priced hardware to supplement it. In particular the presence of a 6-inch size option would make for a nice alternative for customers not concerned with superior specs, but who want a truly large phablet," Android Authority enjoined.  — GMA News
