Samsung releases Android flip-phone in China
Feeling nostalgic for your old flip-phone but can't let go of the power of modern-day smartphones?
Then better hope this new Samsung release makes its way to the Philippines.
The electronics giant recently released the W2016 in China, a phone with similar features to its flagship Galaxy S6 with a T9 numeric keypad.
Featuring dual 3.9-inch 1280x768 Amoled screens, the phone is 15.1mm thick when closed and weighs 204 grams.
The modernized flip-phone includes an Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, with 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The device operates the Chinese version of Samsung's Touchwiz which was based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has wireless charging with a 2000 mAh battery and dual-SIM LTE.
