Juan Tamad companion game Catch the Guava tops Android charts

Catch the Guava is the top new free game on Google Play.

 

Catch the Guava, a companion Android game app for GMA Network’s Juan Tamad, is now listed as the number one under Google Play’s Top New Free games list.

 

The game was launched on October 11 and within the first three days, Catch the Guava was downloaded and installed more than 55,000 times. 

 

Though Clash of Clans still ranks higher, Catch the Guava has outranked Candy Crush.

 

To play the game, the user has to keep Juan’s mouth open so he can catch fresh guavas. However, the user also has to avoid rotten guavas. The goal is to catch enough guavas so he can win the love of Marie.

 

Juan Tamad stars Sef Cadayona in the title role as a college dropout who has a crush on senate researcher Marie.

 

Catch the Guava, which  was developed by 88GamePub for GMA Network, can be downloaded at the Google Play Store here.
