Possible photos of 3rd-gen Moto X leak online

Photos of the prospective Motorola smartphone were leaked online on the Facebook page of Android Peru, Android Police reported.

 

Android Police said the phone sports a front-facing LED camera flash for selfies, along with dual front-facing speaker grills.

 

But it also cited the possibility of the bottom speaker grill doubling as a fingerprint sensor.

 

 

The site also noted a possible waterproof port cover on the top of the device.

 

"If the flap is covering the MicroUSB port, it could indicate that the Moto X is now ready to accompany you to the swimming pool," it said.

 

Other features of the phone as shown in the leaked photos include:

 

- a larger screen, possibly 5.5 inches

- skinny side bezels

- new camera flash module, minus the LED ring flash surrounding the lens and replaced with a paired dual LED setup

- Motorola logo on the front of the device
